I am a photographer, videographer, and storyteller who finds focus in the process of making deliberate images. Planning a shot, scouting locations, reading light, and thinking through what I want an image to say gives me a sense of calm and purpose. Whether photographing a product, a building, or wildlife, I look for the hidden message: the small detail or moment that reveals character and intent. That search for meaning connects everything I create, from commercial to documentary work.
My training in industrial design and my M.S. in Graphic Information Technology sharpened my approach: I approach every project with a designer’s eye and a technician’s discipline. Form, proportion, light, and workflow are not abstract ideas to me; they’re tools I use to build images with intention. That background influences everything from architectural and product photography to motion and sound. I enjoy the precision of controlled environments, where every element can support a clear visual purpose, and I also value the unpredictability of wildlife work, which demands patience and real-time decision-making. Both sides of my practice keep me sharp.
I’m continuing to build my career, focusing on commercial and architectural photography while developing new projects that explore the overlap between design and nature. My goal is to document spaces and subjects that reveal how people and environments coexist. Whether I’m in the studio or waiting quietly in the field, my approach stays the same: deliberate, thoughtful, and grounded in the craft of seeing.
